On June 25(Fri.), a signing ceremony of a student exchange memorandum took place at National Taichung University (Taiwan).This memorandum is based on the agreement that was exchanged by post, regarding educational and academic exchange, on April 22 this year. This enables active exchanges by the students and faculty/staff members, and further cooperation and development are anticipated.After the signing ceremony, a lecture was given by President Nagao, followed by a discussion session. The participants actively exchanged their views regarding common challenges of teacher training universities, teaching license renewal system, faculty/staff evaluation, and so on. Afterwards, we toured the campus facilities, including the resource center that exhibits valuable materials and art works obtained since the university was founded (1901) up to the present. This resource center is very special, as it is not open to the public.
