Maintaining social safety using the scientific method

Education environments that are healthy and safe for children are critical to a variety of educational activities, and there is a growing need for the creation of safe, secure, and healthy education environments in the context of today’s complex world. Issues related to health and safety arise in tandem with social development, and because of the increasing complexity and diversification of society, we need to cultivate human resources with a strong capacity to think outside the box to construct healthy and safe education environments.
This cultivates individuals who have the ability to scientifically understand various issues of safety, security, and health in education environments, such as school safety, mental and physical health and safety, food safety and hygiene, and community safety, and who have practical skills for addressing various challenges. It fosters individuals who want to contribute to the construction of healthy and safe education environments in various settings, including schools, community civic organizations, companies, local governments, and NPOs.

Prospective Students

• Individual who has a strong interest in and awareness of issues relevant to healthy and safe education environments
• Individual who has an interest in studying a cross-section of specialized fields to develop a broad perspective on school safety, mental and physical health and safety, food safety and hygiene, and community safety
• Individual who has the ability to scientifically understand various issues of safety, security, and health in education environments, such as school safety, mental and physical health and safety, food safety and hygiene, and community safety, and wants to develop specialized knowledge in these areas
• Individual who wants to contribute to the promotion of healthy and safe education environments in collaboration with schools and diverse community organizations
