President Yang of National Taichung University of Education (Taiwan) visits Osaka Kyoiku University
President Szu-Wei Yang, Tian-Wei Sheu (Dean, College of Management ) and Feng-Rung Hu (Dean, Office of International Affairs and Research Development ) of partner university National Taichung University of Education visited our Kashiwara Campus on Tuesday, August 30. The Consortium of Universities in Osaka to which we belong has a partnership agreement with the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan, and the Japan-Taiwan International Symposium on Higher Education: Globalization of Universities was held as a part of those activities. President Yang participated in the symposium as a presenter and visited us the following day.
During their visit, they talked with President Nagao and Vice President Kuribayashi about student exchange and incorporation of national universities. President Yang and President Nagao, who have been friends since they became president of their respective universities, said they would like to deepen exchanges between the universities and see friendships like their own develop between students.
Following a pleasant chat, they took a tour of the facilities, including the library and International Center.
